Union minister’s Nagpur office has received a threat call

Nagpur: An unidentified robber claiming to represent an international don has threatened Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari with nearly Rs 100 crore. Otherwise, it will be completely blown up in an explosion.
Let us tell you that three calls were received on the landline of Gadkari’s office at Khamla in Nagpur at around 11.30 am.
Then it also came to light that the caller had used the name of Dawood Ibrahim, who had given shelter to Pakistan and ISI, to threaten the Union minister for extortion.
Police sources have also said that the call is most likely to be from Hubli in Karnataka.
He has also said that the security of the already Z plus Union Minister has been increased.
The rest of the state and central intelligence agencies have been fully activated
After several threatening calls, the city police swung into action. Zonal DCP Anurag Jain and senior officers have also reached the spot. And the city police has already fully activated its cyber cell machinery.
Sources have also said that even the security forces of other states have been put on full alert as the call also seems to have come from outside Maharashtra.
CP Amitesh Kumar, who was in Pune, is on his way back to Nagpur after receiving threat calls.
“There were two threat calls within 10 minutes. The unknown caller claimed to be a member of the Dawood gang and demanded Rs 100 crore. We are also verifying the entire episode right now,” the CP added, adding that all necessary precautions have been taken so far for security and to unearth the racket.
The State Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and the rest of the state and central intelligence agencies have also been fully activated.
