City School Pays Tribute to Corona Warriors in a Virtual Art Expo
The current crisis due to COVID 19 seemed to have wrecked all havoc in the country. But amidst all the turmoil and tough times the medical professionals like the doctors and nurses have played a wider role in fixing things the best. They seemed to have worked tirelessly in the service of the nation. Their work and contribution are supposed to be applauded and recognised by all and the city school Delhi Public School seems to have paid their tribute to the warriors fighting tough times in the city.
They were seen putting respect in their own way and thus were seen coming out with virtual paintings that paid tribute to them. In the virtual expo organised by the school, the students of DPS Nagpur along with other cities like Nashik, and Varanasi were seen sharing their paintings saluting to the warriors who played a big role in fighting the menace. The virtual exhibition was launched by three known doctors – Dr. Satish Deopujari, a renowned Pediatrician and Professor Emeritus Indira Gandhi Medical College Nagpur, Dr. Jaya Chakravorty, Professor and Head, Department of Medicine, I M S, B H U and Dr. Ashutosh Thole, Director of Janki Maternity Home Nashik, a renowned Obstetrician and Gynecologist.
The expo was carried out in collaboration with the DPS Students along with the doctors who expressed their art drawing their feelings with integrity for the COVID 19 warriors. The expo was inaugurated on a webinar organised to celebrate the big day of Doctors Day recently in the presence of the above said doctors. You can check the paintings as under.
