Dead body found in car dickey at scrap dealer’s shop
This case has now brought into action the Tehsil Police and Crime Branch teams as well as the city police. Along with this, some suspects have already been arrested in this connection.
Nagpur: A naked and mutilated body of an unidentified person was found on Friday in the trunk of a car parked at the shop of a scrap dealer near the shrine of Wrestler Baba.

Police also said that scrap dealer Naushad Shah had bought the car from a garage near Chhota Tajbagh in Sakkardara around eight days ago to cut it into pieces for metal and spare parts for around Rs 40,000. This car was earlier owned by Bobdia, who had sold it to a Deepak a few days back.
Then Deepak tried hard to get this bad car repaired. But the garage mechanic could not fix this car. And then it was here that the owner of the garage sold this car to a scrap dealer and then Naushad bought that car and came to his shop.
Police have said that Naushad had asked his mechanic to cut the vehicle a day before. The mechanic refused to go ahead as the vehicle smelled unbearable. Then when Naushad and his staff started cleaning the useless car. He was completely stunned to see a naked and badly mutilated body in the trunk under some of the clothes from that car.
Vehicle was picked up from Chhota Tajbagh
Then Naushad informed the police about this dead body. Sources said that Naushad and his brother Ajju, who has a crime record against him, have been arrested. Along with this, Naushad had claimed from the beginning that he had bought the vehicle from a garage near Manewada. But then it was later revealed that the vehicle was picked up from Chhota Tajbagh.
This body has now been sent to Mayo Hospital for postmortem.
Police officers have registered this case as accidental death. But the angle of this murder has not been ruled out at all.
Trupti Sonawane, Senior PI of Tehsil police station, has said that the matter is being investigated from different angles.
Sources have also said that after the statements of Naushad and his brother were found to be contradictory, the police detained several suspects for questioning.
The Crime Branch team was also separately interrogating the garage owner, who had handed over the vehicle to Naushad.
