Six new cases were reported in Vidarbha, 2 hospitalized in Amravati

Nagpur: In the last 24 hours, six new cases of coronavirus have come out in the Vidarbha region. Gadchiroli and Nagpur have reported two cases each while Buldhana and Amravati have reported one case each. That is, on Tuesday, cases of covid were reported from both the eastern and western parts of the Vidarbha region.

The most interesting thing is that the patient found in Amravati on Tuesday had to be admitted to the hospital. Currently, 2 covid patients are hospitalized in this district, while five patients are recovering in home isolation. 11 covid patients are undergoing treatment in Nagpur and all the patients have been kept in home isolation.

In all, there are 25 ‘active covid cases’ in the Vidarbha region and except for two in Amravati, all are in home isolation only. Around 2,500 tests have been conducted in the Vidarbha region in the last 24 hours. Six of them have tested covid positive, The covid test positivity rate (TPR) in this region is still less than 0.25%. Seven districts have registered absolutely zero TPR, In which there was no new covid case.

As far as district Nagpur is concerned, then 1,061 tests have been done in a day. Two new covid cases have also been detected, Both of them were from Nagpur Rural (ZP area), Where till yesterday there was no covid patient.

Yavatmal: Keeping the coronavirus free status unchanged for the 26th consecutive day in this district, no new patient has emerged out of 185 swab samples tested on Tuesday. The district’s toll has also remained unchanged at 1,803. Casetally as of now is 79,065. The district has a fatality rate of 2.28%, a test positivity rate of 9.26% and a daily positivity rate of 0. Of the 8,54,163 swab samples processed so far, 7,75,098 have been found negative.

Amravati: A new covid case has been found in the test of 155 samples in this district, But on Tuesday, neither any patient has been cured nor has anyone died. The number of active covid cases has gone up to seven.

Wardha: This district has also remained coronavirus free for the second consecutive day as no new case has come out in 165 investigation reports on Tuesday. Recovery, caseload, and toll remained unchanged at 57,147, 58,110, and 1,351 respectively. Not a single covid patient is being treated in this district.

Chandrapur: This district has remained coronavirus free for the sixth consecutive day on Tuesday. All the 207 tests done in the last 24 hours have turned out to be covid negative. Not a single active covid patient has been found in this district. The coronavirus caseload remains unchanged at 98,960 and the district’s total recovery amount is 97,393. The toll is 1,567.
