HCL Tech And Maharashtra Airport Development Co Unite to create 8,000 jobs in Nagpur
Amidst the slow down in the economy where jobs are dying and people are losing jobs in various industries like Auto and others, we have a ray of hope in Nagpur. The IT Giant in Nagpur HCL Technology on Monday signed a deal with MADC or Maharashtra Airport Development Company that plans to expand MIHAN campus in the city ending up creating more than 8,000 jobs in the city. As per the deal, HCL is going to acquire 90 acres of lands and thus add the current 50 acres within Mihan, Nagpur.
As per reports, The MIHAN center will plan to offer a spectrum of services like Apps Development, BPO, product engineering, IT services management and company’s internal enabling functions. The reports suggest that the campus will become fully operational in the coming few years and would, therefore, employ 8,000 personnel claimed the statement released in the media. Mr. Nitin Gadkari the Minister for Road Transport and Highway announced the same. He said that the project will offer countless opportunities for local talent.
