Lockdown 4.0: State Extends the Lockdown Till 31st May
As the cases for the COVID 19 virus continues, the state along with Nagpur is already in a bad state with the highest number of cases in the country. Hence it was the first to extend the lockdown till 31st of May. As per reports, the other states that announced the lockdown include Punjab, Mizoram and Maharashtra. So far the state has witnessed around 67 deaths due the virus out of which 41 deaths have been recorded in Mumbai alone, claims the latest reports of the Health Department.
So far around 1606 new cases have been reported in the media all across the country till Saturday, while the state tally of COVID 19 is now reached to around 30706 and toll has now reached to around 1135. The current lockdown will have restrictions on opening up the market of non-essential things. While the wine shops would remain open during the day time.
The schools and colleges are going to remain closed for a while till things are sorted out, while the people stranded in the city including the migrant workers and students via trains to their desired destinations. The trains and other transport are likely to remain open in a partial way and so are the other places like the government offices with 33% of workers and private offices with lesser numbers of people in it.
