Maharashtra Assembly Session: Opposition raised slogans against Shinde over alleged role in land scam

Nagpur: In Maharashtra, opposition parties led by former deputy CM Ajit Pawar and MPCC president Nana Patole have demanded chief minister Eknath Shinde’s resignation for his alleged role in giving land on lease to about 16 people for housing the poor.
MPCC president Nana Patole has also said that MVA ministers Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Mallick had resigned only after being accused in corruption cases.
Simultaneously, the Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court had also directed the authorities to maintain status quo in the matter. Where Shinde had passed the order as Urban Development Minister and also directed Nagpur Improvement Trust to give the land on lease.
Opposition leaders have raised slogans against the Maharashtra government on this issue.
They have also raised slogans like ’50 Khoke Ekdum Okay’, ‘Gujrat la Wolkswagan and Maharashtra la Popcorn’.
The leaders of the ruling party have also raised slogans against the MVA leaders.
Others, including Jayant Patil, Former CM Prithvijraj Chavan, and MLA Vijay Wadettiwar, were also seen raising slogans against the ruling party.
He also demanded the resignation of Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari for his derogatory remarks on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule has mocked the MVA leaders
Describing the sloganeering of MVA leaders as fake, Shinde-BJP leaders Pravin Darekar, Ashish Shelar, Pravin Datke and other leaders have also raised slogans on the Vidhan Bhavan premises.
He has also said that he is trying to save his image by making derogatory and derogatory remarks against saints and great leaders in the state.
BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule has also mocked the MVA leaders, claiming that Uddhav Thackeray ignored the issues of the state when he was the CM of Maharashtra for almost 2.5 years.
