Many schools ignored the order of Diwali holidays
The principal of a CBSE school has said that We will take the examination of all the children up to 8th standard in online mode.
Nagpur: Some schools in Nagpur district have completely ignored the order of the state education department to start the Diwali festival holidays from October 28. Because it had come just a day before that. Due to which the schedule of his examination was disturbed.
The principal of a CBSE school has said that We will take the examination of all the children up to 8th standard in online mode. The physical examination was conducted as per the schedule of class IX. The biggest problem is that we cannot push this stop button in less than 24 hours at all. This exam schedule has been planned 1 month in advance. Even if it had been a non-covid year many years ago. Now because these restrictions keep coming and going. We can’t plan too far ahead at all.
The reason for all the schools being even more unhappy was that the education department had now stopped them from conducting online classes.
Disregarded Education Department Notification
A principal has said that If we conduct online exams and classes then what is their problem? We only want that for this period the examination of the students is completely over before Diwali so that all the teachers can easily get enough time for evaluation. Along with this, after the festival of Diwali we will be fully busy with 10th and 12th class 1st exams.
Almost all the schools of the state board have also disregarded this education department notification. A principal has also said that On Wednesday afternoon, we received a letter that the students’ holidays would start from Thursday. In his earlier letter, it was to start from the date of November 1. It is highly unacceptable that people sitting in the ministry can do any work they want.
Informally, they know that it is none of the schools’ fault. An education officer said that we were told that the government had to conduct some surveys. And hence the holidays of these students were pre-scheduled for 2-3 days. The examinations of the students were already scheduled in the schools. Not all but a lot so they went ahead with that only. Most of them have conducted these examinations of the students online.
