It is a New Year gift for the Aapli Bus drivers in Nagpur as they are getting a 5000 Salary hike. As per reports, the civic body – NMC has now decided to offer salaries of the said city bus drivers and conductors as per Minimum Wages Act. However, with this move, the NMC will get an extra burden of 1 crores on a monthly basis. Besides, the salary hike, the drivers and the conductors of Aapli Bus in Nagpur are likely to enjoy several other perks as well.
These include paid leaves up to 15 days, yearly bonuses, overtime allowances, and other perks. The decision to give the increment to the drivers and other employees of Aapli bus came on Monday in the meeting of the civic body NMC with the transport committee and the presence of different officials of the department. These include Narendra Borkar the Chairman Transport committee, Admin officer, Mr. Ravindra Pagey, and Mr. Rajesh Mohite Deputy Chairperson NMC and Manager.
While talking about the same, the Chairperson, Mr. Narendra said that the employees would be getting the salary of 34 days rather than getting for 26 days. The employees seen getting indulged into any kind of irregularities and other issues would be punished only for six months as they would remain suspended for the said time duration.
