Nagpur City has been quite famous for getting certain things for the first time in India. This time, it has not been the first one to get one such thing but has been amongst the 3 cities to get something that no one else has. That’s a pani puri vending machine. It may sound weird to you as you always heard of snacks or ice-cream vending machine but this is true. Hard to believe, this has become a reality for Nagpurians.
Nagpur has finally got an automated pani puri vending machine for the first time. It has been installed at Nagpur Chaupati. Pani puri has been the most loved street food of Indians. While it has many names across many cities, it remains to be the single most loved snack by all; equally. Ahmedabad and Bengaluru are the other two cities to have similar vending machines. The shop owner of the vending machine in Nagpur is Shamal Anasane. He visited Ahmedabad and got the idea from there.
One can have the taste of pani puris from vending machine at Mehadiya Square, Dhantoli, Nagpur. The shop opens at 7 o’clock in the morning and closes at 11 o’clock at night. It costs you Rs 20 for a single plate at the shop. 6 nozzles are there in the machine. 3 flavours are available in the nozzles with sweet, medium and spicy water. You can choose amongst them or can even have a combination of these flavours. These mouth-watering pani puris from the machine have grabbed the attention of all.
