North Nagpur Water Supply to Remain Affected as Feeder Line Leaks
A bad news there for the North Nagpur citizens as they are going to face a water supply cut for a day or two. The reason is the new 900mm feeder line, which was laid by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) close to Uppalwadi Railway Bridge, came out with the leakage on Thursday morning. As per reports, the leakage of water supply has been put on hold for the areas located in the North Nagpur for obvious reasons. The Orange City Water Works department taking care of the same have commenced with the repair work.
WIth the water leakage taking place, the Northern areas of the city will witness no water supply today. As per the Nagpur Live reports, there will be no water supply in the areas like Satranjipura and Asi Nagar zones today. The heavy rainfall yesterday also has created issues like waterlogging in the Nagpur.
The repair work will soon going to start once the draining of water is taken. There will be no water supply in Binaki 1 and Binaki 2 along with other adjoining areas like Indora and Bezonbagh to name a few. Even certain areas of Pili Nadi close to Uppalwadi will be affected.
