Nagpur Police now providing Travel Passes to the Needy
This has come as a big relief for people who are stranded in city and want to return to home as they are forced to stay in the lock down phase as called by the Prime Minister. Now, the Maha Police is giving them travel passes to the people who are willing to return their homes from Nagpur. There are thousands of workers and other people who are stranded in various places in the city including the shelter house who can now return their homes in Chattisgarh and MP along with other places.
The order also has special instructions for the police for not stopping the trucks and vehicles carrying food grains and vegetables for obvious reasons. Talking abou the same Mr. Milind Bharambe he Special Inspector General of Police has issue this order after rise of demand of allowing the people stranded in the city to return homes. The number of applications for the same has increased at the office of the Director General Police office.
The lockdown has come to an effect in the state that carries the spread of the virus movement of the people who have been prevented to travel. Hence many people are seen contacting the office of the DGP Maha to get the emergency passes to return home for their travel. With the increasing demand, the issue was discussed and thus the police has decided to allow the people to travel with the required passes given by the police.
