Nagpur Sizzles at 44.8 C, warning for Heat Waves issued
With cool April, the next month May has been proving tough before the residents of Nagpur city as the temperature has been recorded the highest with 44.8 Degree Celsius going the second highest in the region. When compared to the normal days of the same month in the earlier years, the temperature has shooted up by 3 degrees ahead thus recording the highest in this season.
With this, Nagpur has become the second hottest in the region with Brahamapuri reaching 44.9 degree Celsius. As per the Regional Meteorological Center, Nagpur, the temp is likely to rise high in the coming days and thus RMC has also issued a warning for heatwaves in the city. The RMC is expecting the temperature to be not more than 45 in the coming days but they are only assuming with the current situation under control.
However, the nights have showcased some amount of relief to the people of the city as they are experiencing as low as 23.4 degrees in Nagpur. As per reports, the temperature is likely to remain the same in the first week of June as well. The month of April has been cool so far and it has witnessed the temperature of 15.8 mm rain in the city.
