Protesters pull up police for ‘disrupting’ Surjagarh movement

Nagpur: Anti-mining protesters strongly condemned the district administration and the police department for allegedly calling off the ‘Thiya agitation’ in the early hours of Saturday and forcibly evicting them from Etapalli. He has also appealed to the gram sabhas to celebrate ‘Kali Diwali’ in protest against the “arbitrariness of the district administration and police”.

Ramdas has also said that this protest will continue with the demand to cancel the mining lease of Surjagarh and about 25 companies.
