Sharad Pawar reaches Shirdi from Mumbai hospital for NCP meeting
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar is undergoing treatment for infection and fever at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
Shirdi: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai for the past several days, had left for Shirdi on Saturday to attend his party meeting. Where he has expressed confidence that party workers will definitely bring political change to the state.
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar is undergoing treatment for infection and fever at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. On Saturday afternoon, he had gone to Shirdi town in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra to attend his party meeting. He was flown in a helicopter from Mahalaxmi Race Course in the state capital and was accompanied by a team of doctors.
The 81-year-old Nationalist Congress Party supremo was to return to the hospital from Shirdi later in the day.
Addressing the meeting, Sharad Pawar also expressed confidence that party workers would work towards strengthening the organization significantly and bringing about political change in the state.

The former Maharashtra chief minister also said, “I am sure the situation will change.”
“There was also a lot of desire of the party workers that I also come to the meeting where the ideology, programs, and policies of the Nationalist Congress Party are discussed,” he said.
Sharad Pawar also said that he has been advised to rest for about 10 to 15 days and he will not be able to speak for long.
Senior party leader and former state home minister Dilip Walse Patil later read out Sharad Pawar’s speech.
Sharad Pawar also participated in the Nationalist Congress Party meeting in Shirdi on Friday through video conferencing from a hospital in Mumbai.
