Shiv Sena MP Bhavana Gawali ‘missing’: BJP plaint to Yavatmal cops
This complaint has been filed by Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Aghadi chairperson Maya Shere and others claiming that the MP has not been seen at all in the constituency for the past almost six months.
Yavatmal: Taking action against Bhavana Gawali, a 5-time MP and member of Shiv Sena’s Lok Sabha from Yavatmal-Washim seat, Which is facing the Enforcement Directorate’s investigation for alleged money laundering. This women’s wing of Bharatiya Janata Party had lodged a missing complaint with the police on Wednesday.
This complaint has been filed by Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Aghadi chairperson Maya Shere and others claiming that the MP has not been seen at all in the constituency for the past almost six months.
In the preamble of the Bharatiya Janata Party complaint, Some banners were also seen at prominent places on Tuesday, offering lucrative prizes for “bringing back the missing MP”. However, Bhavana Gawali supporters have removed all the banners.
Maya has also said that all the people who voted for him due to the absence of the MP, It is very difficult to find solutions to those people’s problems. He has said that he has requested the police to trace his MP and protect him from any untoward incident.
Party high command citing personal reasons
Maya also lodged a complaint with the police, then Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary Vaishali Khod, Raju Padgilwar, and others were present.
Bhavana Gawali has completely dismissed the missing complaint, saying that some Bharatiya Janata Party workers used to call him to do many favors and he has also forced them.
Arvind Sawant, former Shiv Sena Union Minister, on Monday had also visited Yavatmal in connection with the party’s campaign. Along with this, when asked about Shiv Sena MP Bhavana’s absence from the program, Shiv Sena’s former Union minister Arvind Sawant has said that the MP had also sought permission from the party high command citing personal reasons.
Bhavana Gawali has said that he is doing some work even though he is not present at all in the constituency. These can also be verified by government agencies. They will return to the constituency and resume their public contacts very soon.
