Vandana Benjamin, head of Maharashtra English School Trustees Association women’s wing, has said that she has some members, So far, about 30 schools have confirmed their plans to reopen. This number will grow exponentially as the weeks go by as other schools will want to see what happens on day one.
Sanjay Tayde-Patil has said that it cannot afford the much-needed infrastructure for online classes. Because of this, basically due to the closure of the school, these children are not getting the opportunity to learn at all.
Students called to school for vaccination
Members of the Maharashtra English School Trustees Association across Maharashtra, who will take part in the reopening drive on Monday, He has claimed that he is very well aware of the legal risk that he is taking.
District Education Officer Ravindra Katolkar has said that he has not received any information from such schools about their plans to reopen once, It is only through the media. He is very well versed in the rules and if he executes his plans on Monday, Then it is certain to follow the government action.
Nagpur District President of Maharashtra English School Trustees Association Nishant Narnaware has said that he is fully prepared to face the consequences. He is doing everything for the benefit of his students. When students are being called to school for covid vaccination, Being allowed to go to resorts, restaurants, etc. Then why not schools after all? If their students of class 10th and 12th are kept away from education, then what will be their performance in the board exams.
Because of this, even though schools have been stopped from reopening once on Monday, Maharashtra English School Trustees Association members will continue with the plan on Tuesday. Narnavere has said that he will go ahead with his peaceful non-cooperation movement.
