From Arvi Kadam Hospital deer skin seized

Nagpur: From Kadam Hospital on Saturday, In the abortion case of Arvi taluka of Wardha district after the skin of a deer was recovered. Registering a fresh case, the police officer handed over the skin to the forest department.

In the past few days, around 12 skulls and 54 bones of children have been recovered from a biogas plant in the hospital premises.

This case of illegal abortion came to the fore then. The time when a 13-year-old girl approached the police against her 17-year-old’s boyfriend and his parents for forcing an abortion on January 3 this year.

The police officer has also made Dr. Shailaja, the mother-in-law of co-accused Dr Rekha Kadam, a gynecologist in the case. He is still hospitalized.

The police officer has also said that a joint search operation was conducted at the residence-cum-hospital of the Kadam family by members of the Committee of Pre-Conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques Act, 1994 (PCPNDT) and a joint team of medical experts.

Treatments performed by patients

Along with this, deer skin has also been recovered during the search. A police officer has said that the first face, there was also the possibility of deer skin being used to sit in it, But the Forest Department will take the final decision on this matter. They have already handed over the skins to the forest officials.

It is also learned that special and police teams have also recovered records, documents, medicines, and some details of abortions and other treatments performed by patients in the past at Kadam Hospital.

Action will be initiated against the hospital authorities for various violations under the PCPNDT Act, According to a senior health official.

SP Prashant Holkar has also said that the police will wait to receive the report from the PCPNDT committee after inspection to take further action.
