Vagabond killed by his friend-turned-foe Dinsagar Sadaphule on Nagpur railway station
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) managed to nab the accused within about 45 minutes after scanning the footage of CCTV installed around the same spot where the man's body was found.
Nagpur: A vagrant named Jeetendra was killed in a dangerous manner by his friend-turned-enemy Dinsagar Sadaphule on platform number four of Nagpur railway station in the early hours of Friday. And let us tell you that Sadaphule, a native of Pune, has pelted Jeetendra badly with stones for abusing his family.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) managed to nab the accused within about 45 minutes after scanning the footage of CCTV installed around the same spot where the man’s body was found.
It should also be mentioned that Ashutosh Pandey, head of Railway Protection Force Central Railway Nagpur division, has also said that from Friday, he is going to start regular action against the vagrants and beggars living in and around Nagpur railway station.
Sadaphule waited for Jeetendra to fall asleep
Jeetendra, a native of Chhattisgarh, also used to roam around. Used to work as a laborer as well and used to sleep at Nagpur railway station or nearby area. Sources have also said that Sadaphule and Jeetendra used to consume liquor together regularly and it was also common for them to say and hear each other.
Sadaphule and Jeetendra, both working as laborers, had a drunken brawl near Ganesh Tekdi earlier on Thursday. During the altercation, Jeetendra allegedly also abused the attacker and his family. The police have also said that Sadaphule waited for Jeetendra to fall asleep and then brutally killed him with a stone, while the victim was sleeping. Sadaphule has been handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP). Then later he has been arrested on the charge of murder.
Police raided a hookah parlor
On the basis of secret information, the crime branch of city police raided Hookah Parkour located at Booty Compound on Mount Road on Thursday. Police seized 10 hookah utensils, beer, flavor bottles and other material worth about Rs 66,000 during the raid. And even after the raid, the police have registered a case against Nikhil Kumaria and a crime has been registered in the Sadar police station.
