VIA to conduct Tax awareness webinar session on “Recent Tax Relaxation by Government on May 9
The city industrial body Vidarbha Industries Association – VIA has always remained active when it comes to organizing events benefitting the city or regional businessman and industrialist. In the current lockdown, when the industries are in a bad shape with no or minimal production in different units in the city and other places in the region, it has come out with a webinar on an important topic.
The webinar deals with the relaxation given to industries by the state and central government amid the lockdown in taxes. The VIA Taxation and Corporate Law Forum of the industrial body has now organised a Tax awareness webinar session on an important topic “Recent relaxation given by Government under this COVID 19 situation.” The webinar is slated on Saturday, May 9, 2020, from 5.00 pm to 7:00 pm, which is organised by zoom.
We have seen both the state and the central governments coming out with different announcements on various packages for the region that comes under various categories of IT and GST are added. These are vital for the industries falling under MSMEs during the lockdown period. In the session, we will see the CA Ritesh Mehta would be speaking on GST while CA Naresh Jakhotia would be speaking on IT relaxations given by the governments.
