I-Clean Nagpur Kicks off Cleanliness Drive in City
With the ongoing rains still active in City and other parts of the country, Nagpur has been in a bad shape be roads or the public places. But thanks to groups like I-Clean Nagpur, they have kicked off their cleanliness drive in the city starting from Civil LInes. They chose a dirty corner on the busy Amravati Road opposite the popular petrol pump – Bhole Petrol Pump. More than 30 members from the said group collected at the said location and were seen cleaning the area and even painted the walls there.
This attracted many commuters and passer-by people who stopped to ask about the cleanliness drive. The group of people working in the area had people from 12 to 65 years of people who worked hard toward the beautification of the city. Talking about the group called I-Clean, it has the expertise in cleaning the areas and making them beautiful by adding paints on the walls and putting across some powerful cleanliness-related messages backed with Warli designs.
As per the group, this spot remains the 178th area in Nagpur which they chose for cleaning and making it beautiful. The group’s objective is to promote cleanliness and hygiene in the area. They are environment-friendly people and ask to shun plastics by choosing cloth bags. Every group member in the volunteer group raises money by contributing 50 INR every month. The group has also supported the NMC and KRML officials for cleanliness activities in the city. Stay tuned to know more about the group and others only with us.
