According to a report, a source associated with the show has told, the success of shows like Lock Up has prompted the channel to experiment with a mixed bag of contestants in the same season. While actors like Shivangi and Rubina promise a loyal fan base, the channel is looking to tap into the huge fanbase of influential actors-Faisu and Jannat.

Faisal Shaikh, who has joined the TV reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, has promised a huge audience as he has 27 million followers on Instagram. Apparently, they were provided with a minimum 6 weeks guarantee and a huge payout prior to the show. Faisal Sheikh is one of the top social media platform influencers with a net worth of around Rs 14 crore.
