In the recently concluded event called Raman Festival of Innovation at Raman Science Centre, around 75 teams presented their ideas on Thursday at the auditorium from 11 am to 5 pm daily for the past week. Talking about the same, Dr. Vivek Nanoti the Principal Priyadarshani Engg College was called the Chief Guest at the program along with Dr. Prashant Agrawal who was also there as the guest of honor.
The RSC Project coordinator Mr. Vijay Sharma also shared the dais with the two. Talking about the same, Mr. Sharma was seen saying that students should not be scared of the mistakes they make and they should be able to do things as per their experiments. He said that he and his team have given students all the opportunity to make as many mistakes as they can commit in their life and studies so that they can learn from them. He said that others should also give them a chance for the same.
He further added that people should be given that chance until they turn 26 years of age. While talking about the issue of procrastination in the program he gave the example of Xerox machine and iMac. He said that how the latter used the same idea on the same interface to become an instant hit in the world. The others also spoke about different ideas. The festival has commenced yesterday and would be there for three days concluding on the 15th of Feb. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
