T Systems in partnership with Tech Mahindra opens delivery center in Nagpur

Initially, Tech Mahindra is going to hire 500 persons and will also operate under a build, operate and transport (BOT) model.

Nagpur: T Systems International and T Systems India have partnered with Tech Mahindra. Simultaneously, a new spin-out center will be set up at Tech Mahindra’s unit in MIHAN-SEZ here.

Initially, Tech Mahindra is going to hire 500 persons and will also operate under a build, operate and transport (BOT) model. Eventually, the recruits will also be absorbed by T Systems, which plans to add over 6,000 employees in the next about two years under the build, operate, and transport model. Along with this, T-Systems is also a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, which has already partnered with Tech Mahindra.

As part of this partnership, Tech Mahindra will also enable ramp up of T-Systems’ workforce by building a dedicated team to deliver technology solutions. In addition, the company’s access to talent from Tier II cities will go a long way in creating a highly flexible capability for T Systems’ needs, it said in a note.

T Systems also has around 28,000 employees and a turnover of 4 billion Euros by 2021. The note also states that with its headquarters in Europe, its focus industries are in sectors such as automotive, healthcare, and transportation, for which it develops industry specific solutions. And Tech Mahindra or then Satyam was the first investor in MIHAN-SEZ.
