We have earlier reported that on the 18th and 19th for some renovation and other works in Nagpur railway station would witness the terminations of few trains coming from Mumbai. These include the Duronto Express that would terminate for a day or two at Ajni Railway station. Yesterday when the said train terminated at the railway station at Ajni, it witnessed total chaos at the railway platform to the exit and another place.
As we know the Ajni station lacks the basic facilities, there is no ramps, escalators or lifts inside it. Having only three platforms at the station, Ajni is too small to handle huge traffic of trains like Doronoto that remains the single stop train moving end to end from Mumbai. This obviously would bring a huge amount of crowd that witnessed a chaotic scene at the station claimed the commuters and people getting down at this station.
So with no basic facilities, the people had to face a tough time carrying their bags and suitcases over the stairs. On the other side, the coolie also seemed taking undue advantage to the situation demanding just the double money from the passengers. The senior citizen passengers seemed pretty exhausted. People alleged that the Duronoto train often comes at the back near the Santra Market platform which was not affected by the ongoing renovation work in Nagpur station hence terminating the train to Ajni had no logic.Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us till then if you have anything to share, do let us know by commenting below.
