Ever since Sandeep Joshi took the charges of the city mayor, many things seemed to change. He launched the anti-encroachment drive to get rid of the illegal shops and other similar things giving enough spaces to move inside the city. Although many disliked this idea but the residents of Nagpur are happy with this campaign. Now, to get connected with the people of Nagpur, the city mayor Mr. Joshi has launched an app called Hello Mahapaur or Hello Mayor.
While launching the app, which is now available in Google Play Store and in the Play Store, and it been a week to see him the app and we have more than 376 complaints from the people of Nagpur. As per the Nagpur Times of TOI, there 32 complaints about garbage, 9 for water supply, 8 for government schemes, 63 for sewage, 55 for encroachment, and 53 for stray dogs to name a few.
As per reports, the app registered more number of complaints when compared to the traditional complaint boxes. Despite launching the app, the mayor has made to sure to install the suggestion and complaint boxes in not less than 100 locations in the city. These have got around 200 suggestions and complaints so far, while the app has got a good response. Talking about the complaints received the mayor said that he has appointed seven officers on special duty who would be addressing the issues.
