Gadkari Calls Industry in Region Adopting Innovative Technology To get an Edge
Nitin Gadkari the Union Minister for Highway and Industry is back in the news and this time for calling the Industry in the region to adopt innovative technology to get a competitive edge. He asked the companies to innovate and upgrade to reduce the import and make them export-reliant in the international market. He was talking on a video conference meeting held yesterday which carried out the presence of the representatives of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and India SME Forum (ISF) along with the other enterprises from various sectors from Nagpur.
As the lockdown is seen getting at ease, the focus would then shift to the boosting up the economic activities along with doing things like a revival of the sector for big-scale employment generation leading to different ways for sustained economic growth becomes imminent. When it comes to the revival of the MSME sector, the Minister was seen laying off a special focus over the export enhancement along with the required practices that are adopted to slash down the power cost along with the logistics cost and Production cost for becoming competitive in the global market.
Later, Gadkari was seen mentioning that while the government has been allowed to go with the industry sector for starting up the function, it would need to ensure that the industries would need to adopt various preventive measurements to get away from the situation about COVID 19. He then was seen focusing on the usage of PPE and asked to maintain the norms as suggested by the global health body.
