NMC Warns to Follow COVID 19 Norms or Face the Lockdown
As the number of cases in the city are increasing, the NMC Chief has already given the warning to the people that he can impose lockdown in the city. All thanks to the gross violation taking place in the city that has increased the number of cases, the civic body seems to have come out with hard words. As people are still not wearing masks and not following the social distancing thing. Hence Mr. Tukaram Mundhe the NMC chief has warned about imposing a stricter lockdown in the city.
The lockdown has been eased by the NMC as they have allowed 33 percent of people to work in office premises but with conditions. However, they have experienced that people are not taking care of the preventive measurements, which are supposed to be followed to keep the virus on the bay. There seems to be a rampant violation in norms like social distancing and wearing of masks.
With things going out of control, the COVID 19 cases in the city are increasing. The people in the market area tend to remain callous and thus they are seen facing tough times. As per the Hitavada Cityline, only few examples like the residence of Ramdaspeth who have categorically stated everyone passing from their areas to avoid using their roads. They have asked people only to move outside unless it is very urgent to go out. Talking about the lockdown, the NMC office claimed that they have not decided for the same, but if things move ahead in the bad direction, the civic body is likely to take strict action.
