NMC to Allow Market to Open with 10 % Staff in non-affected areas

As the center has asked the states to open the market of the non-affected areas, the civic body of Nagpur – NMC refused to open the market for obvious reasons. However, it seems that the civic body has revised its order and is planning to make certain areas of non affected zones as functional in the city amid the lockdown. As per reports, the NMC chief Mr. Tukaram Mundhe has now decided to reopen the Nagpur city only in the areas where there is no reports for the virus. 

However, the relaxation is not going to be seen in the areas that are considered in the red zone. These include Satranjipura, Mominpura, Gandhibagh, Aasi Nagar and Mangalwari where the markets would remain closed for obvious reasons. While the other areas with no or minimal effect for the virus will include Laxmi Nagar, Dhantoli, Dharampeth, Hanuman Nagar, Lakadganj and Nehru Nagar would witness some amount of relaxation. 

All the shops selling the essential goods are likely to remain open in the non affected areas, while the other stores with non-essential products like stationary, and government offices will be allowed only where there is not a single case of the virus has been reported. Even the shops and markets open with minimal staff, the people and others are likely to follow the guidelines as issued by the health minister wherein they have to maintain the social distance within office premises.
