Sad Demise of Telugu Comedian Venu Madhav, 39 Leaves Tollywood Shocked

Venu Madhav, popular Tollywood comedian is survived by his wife Sree Vani and their two sons named Madhav Swikar and Madhav Prabhakar. The sad news of Venu Madhav’s demise came as a shock to the Telegu cinema. Reported to suffering from kidney-related ailments, he was already under medical supervision at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

The Telugu comedian-actor Venu Madhav, aged 39 died on Wednesday afternoon. Undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad since over two weeks of tenure, he was however, discharged on Sunday. But, due to his deteriorating health condition on Monday, he was once again advised for kidney transplantation.
As per a source on a popular media platform, it was said, “He was discharged on Sunday, but his family brought him back on Tuesday afternoon after his condition worsened. He was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit and was put on life support. He died around 12.20 on Wednesday.”

Members of the Telugu film industry have been left in complete shock after this sorrowful demise of this popular Tollywood actor. Several other Tollywood actors have come in pouring their heartfelt tributes to the late comedian by posting condolences message on their respective social media accounts since Wednesday afternoon.
On this account, actor Varun Tej tweeted on Wednesday afternoon: “RIP Venu Madhav garu. Thank you for your contribution to Telugu cinema. Condolences to his family and friends.”

The popular Telugu director Gopichand Malineni also emerged in to pay his condolences to Venu Madhav on Twitter, writing, “Saddened to know the news about Venu Madhav garu’s death. Your contribution to TFI will be remembered forever. My sincere condolences to the family.”

Venu Madhav’s filmography career has bagged in over 170 movies in the Telugu cinema. Other than Telugu films, he even acted a few Tamil films. Madhav had made his debut in the Tollywood film industry with his 1996 film Sampradayam. The 2016 film Dr Paramanandaiah’s Students Gang was his last release. He also stepped into the Indian entertainment industry as a mimicry artist but, due to his exceptional talent, he later ventured into films, featuring mostly for the comic roles.

Venu Madhav was also the honorary recipient of the state Nandi Award for Best Male Comedian for his performance in the 2006 action comedy Lakshmi.
