City Politicians Celebrate as Uddhav Thackeray is Sworn in as Maha CM
As the Shiv Sena Chief, Mr. Uddhav Thackeray takes up the key position of the state by swearing-in as the Chief Minister of the state, the city politicians also celebrated his victory for the secular forces, particularly in the non-BJP camps. The Vidarbha region has witnessed a good response to the Congress and the NCP taking the BJP at the back seat. The city also gave two men the victory from the Congress and the non-BJP seat.
However, most of the politicians now want the new CM to emulate the steps which was taken by the former CM Mr. Fadnavis during his days. They now want them to deliver the projects that have been kept on working during the past few years about the roads, highways, bridges and metro. Nitin Raut is expected to be taken in the cabinet in the newly installed government. However, the portfolio of the Ministers are yet to be finalized but it is expected to see someone representing Vidharbha in the Maha assembly.
On the other side, the people in the BJP camps were concerned about the ongoing projects going in the city. They feel that the projects of roads and other things would be stranded which were initiated by the previous government led by Mr. Fadnavis. The City Mayor Mr. Joshi has similar views as he feels that the new government would not pursue the projects of Nagpur the way Fadnavis and his government was taking ahead. Many from the congress, NCP and Shiv Sena came out to celebrate this big day to see the new CM and the Dy CMs.
