CRly Launches E-Wheelchair Facility at Nagpur Railway Station

The service was started on a Friday by a team under the guidance of the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Richa Khare, Assistant Commercial Manager VC Thul, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Krishnanath Patil and Chief Commercial Inspector (CCI), Non-Fair Revenue (NFR), TP Acharya.

Earlier, CR had to introduced a battery car at this railway station. Which is used to a charge around the Rs 50 per person. In battery car, the beneficiary has to share this vehicle also with any others as well.

According to the CS Rao, PRO, CR Nagpur City Division, e-wheelchairs can be booked using the app. Sitting at home or even before de-boarding the train. He has also said that the cost of a e-wheelchair along with an a attendant will be Rs 250 per person.
