Dhaakad film sells 20 tickets and collects Rs 4420 on day 8

Actress Kangana Ranaut-starrer action film Dhaakad collected just Rs 4,420 on the eighth day of its theatrical journey. And also has the dubious honor of having sold just 20 tickets nationwide. Overall, Dhaakad has earned around Rs 3 crore so far, Which has continued a very long streak of very poor performance of Kangana at the box office.

The film reportedly cost around Rs 80 crore to Rs 90 crore to make. And according to a separate report, the streaming distribution is struggling hard to find even the makers as the makers didn’t close the deals even before the release.

Directed by Razneesh Ghai, Dhaakad also stars Divya Dutta, Arjun Rampal, and Saswata Chatterjee. The film Dhaakad received mixed reviews but it also seems that the moviegoers have given the film a complete pass.

Horror-comedy sequel Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was released along with the Dhaakad film, has also made huge profits. Till the time of writing this news, it is also on the verge of crossing Rs 100 crore. Directed by Anees Bazmee, which is also a sequel to the 2007 film, it stars Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani.

Along with this, Indian Express film critic Shalini Langer has also given 3.5 stars to the film Dhaakad. She also ended the review by saying, There is also a simple, simple story that after a very shocking incident since childhood, she has become a fired agent, Whenever his parents were shot by a man whom he remembers dearly.
