Entrepreneurship Camp Ignites Students’ Skills at LIT
Every person is storehouse of talent but not everyone recognizes it until they get an opportunity to display their talent. An entrepreneurship camp was organised recently at LIT to enhance the skills of the students. The camp was organised by LIT Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell). It was a three day Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) that extended from 17th to 20th January, 2020.
The camp focused on igniting the talent and skills of the students under professional courses. It aimed at providing information to the students regarding finance, bank schemes and DIC/MSME support. It enhanced there communication skills and hidden talents including creativity. Dr R.B. Mankar is the director of Laxminarayan Institute Of Technology (LIT). He addressed his speech focusing on the need of entrepreneurship. He motivated everyone by saying that hard work and determination helps one to succeed as an entrepreneur and cross the difficulties hindering the path. An example given by him in his speech was that of one of his batchmates who succeeded while working patiently.
The camp was inaugurated by Mr Sushil Sharma who is the Technical Director of Shamlax Metachem Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur. In his speech, he explained his personal life experience where he stepped into Entrepreneurship immediately after his graduation. He also stated that entrepreneurship is the only sector providing multiplied growth. On the second day, the students were told about the mechanism of product selection followed by which the students visited various industries on the third day. The student coordinators worked hard for the success of the camp.
