Groom’s friend, bride’s brother stabbed by 4 guests at wedding reception
Police said that the marriage took place on Saturday and then the very next day a reception was held near the groom's house.
Nagpur: Angry over music being turned off at a wedding ceremony, a groom’s friend and the bride’s brother were mortally injured after being stabbed to death, allegedly by four drunken men. The police have given this information on Monday.
Police have also told that the incident took place on Sunday in the Khasala area of Kapil Nagar.
The police have also said that the marriage took place on Saturday. And then the very next day a reception was held near the groom’s house. At that time these four accused started creating a lot of ruckus under the influence of alcohol. Then because of this, the music was stopped completely. The accused stabbed the groom’s friend and the bride’s brother to the rescue.
Then both these injured have been admitted to the hospital.
An officer of the Kapil Nagar police station has also said that efforts are on to nab these four accused after a case of attempt to murder has been registered.
Two arrested for theft in an autorickshaw
Nagpur: The Crime Branch arrested Neetu Khadse and Saitra Khadse two women, from Ramtek this week for allegedly stealing valuables belonging to co-travelers in an autorickshaw. They also stole the valuables of a woman and cash of a senior citizen in the first week of April. Then the Crime Branch was completely successful in locating the women with the help of CCTV footage. The stolen material worth about Rs 67,900 has been recovered.
A Bike rider dies after being hit by a collision
Nagpur: Sachin Borkar, riding a bike, died in a collision on Trimurti Nagar Chowk on Sunday. He was hit by an unidentified four-wheeler. And the driver fled from the spot without any help or informing the police. And Sachin Borkar was taken to the hospital where he has been declared brought dead. A case has been registered in Dhantoli police station.
