Hospitals in City Face Shortage of test kits
The viral research and diagnostic labs at IGGMCH seem to be in trouble as they are facing shortage of the kits and tools that would help them getting the quicker results for the said virus. As per reports, the hospitals have very limited tools in their labs that has led to the delay in work. ALso, the lab is missing experienced people to deal with such issues to test the sample to confirm positive and negative about the virus. As the complaint about the same has reached to the concerned department things are changing now.
The timely intervention carried out by the state department has made things easy for the hospital as they are not getting the tools in optimum capacity. The issue was reported earlier this week on Monday that the labs are facing shortage of the tools and soon the Health Minister Mr. Rajesh Top took this in his notice and expedited the matter in no time. This has helped in sorting out the shortage in no time.
Tope was also seen talking about this issue said that the testing kits have reached the hospital that would help things in a big way. Talking about the 51 labs carrying out the test of teh virus, the Mayo hospital was seen at the forefront to carry out the test on time. The Dean of the hospital Dr. Ajay Keoliya also have talked about the shortage of the test kits and other things and has been playing the role in arranging the resources to the concerned labs to meet their requirements.
