We know the NGO I-Clean Nagpur which has been responsible in cleaning and beautifying various areas in the city. Every month, they have a target of cleaning and making a space beautiful and this month they had the area of Bharat Van, which was cleaned and made beautiful on Sunday the 8th March which was also celebrated as Women’s Day in the city. The members of the NGO reached on time and started the cleaning work who were soon joined by the residents of the Bharat Van area along with other groups who have been together for such a venture before.
In the connective activity, the team was seen supporting the civic admin to execute the much-required ban on the use of plastics in city. They even painted the message in the area of Bharat Van to shun the use of plastics in the area along with painting it with red and other colors to make the space beautiful. Even the NMC officials backed this event as they have been doing earlier by removing the garbage from the area and disposing to the other place.
Talking about this group – I-Clean it is an NGO having members of all age groups. Thus the event witnessed members from 10 years to 65-year-old persons also involved in it. People of all walks of life have been the part of this group which includes students, CA professionals, IT experts, Lawyers, and many more. Anyone willing to join this group on a volunteer basis can join the NGO. All you need is interest to make our city clean and beautiful. You just have to contribute 50 Rs for the same every month.
