Monsoon Finally Arrives in the State, Heavy Rainfall in the coming Two days
With tough summer days, the pre-monsoon came as a respite to the city. We now see the Indian Meteorological Department coming out with the reports saying that the state and the city is expected to get the monsoon soon. Now, as per the latest reports as published in The Live Nagpur, the IMD has confirmed the arrival of the Monsoon season this year. It has even been predicted for a heavy rainfall in the coming two days from now.
As per reports, the IMD has given strict warning and forecast in Mumbai along with other places like Palghar and Thane that they would get the thunderstorm along with lighting and heavy rains in the said areas. It will get gusty winds that would be seen with the high speed of 30 to 40 kmph at the isolated places, on Friday. As per reports, the northward movement is experiencing the low pressure system that has brought up the rainfall activity in the city.
These include places like Mumbai, MP, Vidarbha and Marathwada, which is going to witness heavy rainfall in the next two days. The coastal areas of the state have remained affected and it will continue to remain the same. These will have heavy rainfall in other states as well including Tripura, Assam and Mizoram which have been affected by heavy rain for obvious reasons. The IMD has predicted heavy rains from June to September.
