MTDC Now to take over Ambazari Garden to develop as Tourism Spot
Its been two and half years since the MTDC has gained the lease of Ambazaari Garden from the state government to develop the space as an important tourism spot to attract people there. However, with a long wait, it seems that now things are taking the right shape. By taking up space, the Nagpur chapter of the state tourism body intends to develop it with additional amenities so as to attract the tourists in the city.
It intends to add a couple of things in the 44 acres of lad that has the cost of 100 crores in the city. It is likely to add fitness club, recreational and amusement park, tourism hub, clubhouse and several spaces for commercial activities. The executive engineer of MTDC Mr. Vinaj informed the media stating that it will attract everyone right from the morning walkers to the tourists coming to Nagpur to avail of the services here at this place and so on.
As per the company’s official, the 44 acres of Ambazari garden would be divided into different zones starting from Zone A and ZOne B as entry and parking spaces along with Zone C as recreation space for kids, while Zone D would be the space for tourism activities having shops, display area and food court, on the other side, Zone E would be the public recreational activities where the lake would develop for different water activities.
