SECR completely sacked 99% of the employees
91% of the family members of SECR employees (14,080) have received the first COVID dose and while up to 70% (10,780) Employees have now also been given a second dose of coronavirus.
Nagpur: SECR (South East Central Railway) has increased the second rate of up to 99% for its employees up to 12,252 eligible. Dose coverage of the coronavirus has been achieved with the help of various approaches based on its ‘ease of vaccine’ approach amid the threat of the newer covid variant ‘Omicron’. And all of its 12,376 eligible employees had already taken their first dose of covid.

And Maninder Uppal has started the vaccination campaign of covid by visiting each and every house in railway colonies located at different places on the lines of ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ of NMC.
Maninder has also set up 8 very well equipped Vaccine Centers across the Division to ensure this. So that it can also be ensured that these employees get the vaccine near their own workstation. Maninder has also said that they have brought the Covid vaccine at the doorstep of family members or near the workplace of the employees as a part of their vision of ‘Ease of Vaccine’. Who has run up to 15 ‘Worker Special’ trains to get the employees and their families vaccinated against Covid at places in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh when the stock of jab in Maharashtra runs out.
Adopt our approach of 100% vaccination
Whereas in Central Railway, up to 97% out of 15,691 employees received the first COVID dose and up to 81% received the second COVID dose, Maninder has made strenuous efforts to complete up to 100% of the dose of covid vaccine for the employees of South East Central Railway.
Maninder has said that technology has been widely used to reach out to employees at various levels. And digital platforms have been used to mentor, woo, and persuade them to take up the task. Unions were also approached to adopt the approach of 100% covid vaccination.
The senior railway official had also set up a 30-bed coronavirus care center in Motibagh with up to 10 doctors for staff till South East Central Railway, apart from empaneled up to 54 hospitals for specialized treatment.
