CBSE 10th and 12th board date sheet not in January

Nagpur: The much-awaited CBSE 10th and 12th board date sheet will not be released in the month of January. As some expected, The main reason for this is the increasing cases of coronavirus across the country. The central board will hold a review meeting next week. In which he will oversee the pre-preparations and planned execution of the same in view of the threat of the Omicron virus.

A teacher has said that they should not give the exam at least till the month of April. Because the third wave of covid will only keep getting worse. They have learned a lot in the past and now the most important thing is to ensure that the students have a safe environment to take the tests.

Create panic among the students

A CBSE principal has also felt that the first covid vaccination should be completed. The principal has said that the covid vaccination of the age group of 15-18 has been unnecessarily delayed by the central government. And this is also going to be an issue as the covid second dose of all eligible students will not be completed at least till the end of the month of February. There is absolutely no point in allowing lakhs of children to appear in the board exams until both the COVID doses are completed.

A senior CBSE teacher has said that around 30 to 35 lakhs appear for the board exams. And in order to plan such a huge exercise, CBSE has to plan in great detail. And those teachers have to execute on everything. Because of this, they feel that it is a very good thing that CBSE is taking its time. And a tentative date sheet is also not announced at all as it will create panic among the students.
