Tests increased & covid cases decreased in Vidarbha

14 Patients of covid have been cured, due to which the number of patients under treatment has remained almost unchanged at 174.

Nagpur: In the Vidarbha region, for the second consecutive day on Friday, the process of testing for about 10,000 coronaviruses continued and relief has come with the decreasing number of new covid cases. 10,719 Tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, only 14 were covid positive. Which means that the test positivity of covid is less than 0.15%.

Washim, Gondia, Akola, and Gadchiroli have not reported any new coronavirus case in the last 24 hours, While Wardha, Buldhana, Bhandara, and Yavatmal reported 1-1 covid case. 2 new coronavirus cases have been detected in Amravati and Chandrapur districts, While district Nagpur has reported 6 new coronavirus cases out of 4,514 tests.

There are currently 11,20,672 coronavirus cases in the region, Out of which 10,99,072 recoveries are also included. And the recovery rate is more than 98% while the death rate of the covid case is 1.9%.

Chandrapur: As against 4 recoveries on Friday in the district, 2 new coronavirus cases have brought the active figure to 12. 1 covid patient was from the city of Chandrapur, And the other was found in Bhadravati.

No casualty was reported in this district during the day. A total of 1,513 coronavirus tests have been done in the last 24 hours. Sample testing has increased in the district and has increased to 7,75,965. Out of which 6,85,407 samples have been found covid negative. The caseload of coronavirus has increased to 88,866, Which includes 1,543 deaths and 87,311 recoveries.

Wardha: 1 covid positive case has been registered in this district out of 314 test reports and 2 discharges on Friday, and took the caseload up to 49,434 and corrected to about 48,100, Because of which 4 covid patients were being treated. No deaths were reported due to covid and the toll has remained unchanged at 1,326.

Yavatmal: No one has died in this district, Due to which the death toll has remained unchanged at 1,788. Treatment of 24 patients of covid is going on. The administration has received 341 investigation reports in the district. In which a person from Pusad was found covid positive. So far, 71,148 out of 72,960 coronavirus patients, including one on Friday, have fully recovered. The fatality rate in the district is 2.45%, the test positivity rate is only 9.48% and the daily positivity rate is only 0.29%. The administration is setting up 1,756 beds for coronavirus patients in hospitals across the district.

Amravati: In this district, a 53-year-old woman from Krishnaparan Colony in the city and a 66-year-old man from Kanwar Nagar were 2 new covid patients out of 759 samples tested on Friday,

Akola: A record 730 tests have been conducted in this district in the last 24 hours. No one has tested positive. No patient has recovered in the district.

Washim: Not a single new covid case or recovery has been reported in the district. Washim caseload is 41,778,

Buldhana: In the last 24 hours, 397 tests have been done in Buldhana. Of these, only 1 has been found covid positive.

Gadchiroli: Out of 916 tests conducted in the district in the last 24 hours, not a single covid has come positive. Due to not getting a single patient in the district, the number of patients still under treatment is 7 only.

Gondia: Another 0 day has been recorded in the Gondia district, Where all 328 tests were covid negative. There is no report of any recovery in the district. Right now 2 covid patients are undergoing treatment and 1 of them is in the hospital itself.

Bhandara: After no new covid case was reported in the district for 5 days, 1 new case of coronavirus has come out on Friday. About 450 tests have been done. At present, treatment of 1 covid patient is going on in the district.
