Young Woman Injured In Robbery Case in Nagpur
The 21st century has become not just an era of digitalisation but also the one to witness the worst incidents ever. Even after the police has taken so much efforts to bring crime under control, robbers don’t leave a chance to get the police running after them. Seems like, robbers are just not interested to give some heed to the warnings of the police! They are no more afraid of doing robbery even when the world stays awake.
A young lady was recently attacked by robbers to her utter dismay. She never would have thought that she would be robbed on-road! The name of the lady is Sakina Kadir Sheikh aged 30 years. She lives in Manavshakti Nagar, Kharbi Road. On her way home, two robbers followed her on a bike and stopped her on the Dighori flyover. They hit the young woman on her head and succeeded in snatching away some cash and mobile phone from her. The woman got injured during the incident. The robbers took away cash of Rs 1000/- from her. They also robbed her of her i-phone and some other documents accounting to around Rs 16000/-.
The case happened while the woman was going back home around 8 o’clock in the evening. The case has been filed at the Sakkardara Police Station. The two robbers managed to flee from the spot before police or any other person could reach out to the woman for help. The police had registered the case under Section 394 of Indian Penal Code and is investigating further into the matter.
