150 Families from Shatranjipura Sent to Isolation Center
The city is passing through a bad time as we see it is getting affected the most in the state after Mumbai and Pune. It has been in the red zone with the increasing number of cases. All thanks to the area called Satranjipura in Nagpur, which has reported maximum number of cases reaching to around 43 which include one death as well. The people from one family remained the most affected and were tested positive for the virus.
As per the latest, more than 150 people from around 30 houses from the area have been admitted in the isolation centre. These were the people who have the history of coming in touch with the man who died due to the virus in city. The civic body was quick to arrange the buses for the families to take them to the isolation center so that they can be tested for the virus. As per reports, all the people were sent out to the health department in 12 different buses seeking the help of ten teams.
As per reports, there were around 313 teams which were led by 22 doctors in the hotspot areas of Satranjipura, Mominpura, Lalganj, Shantinagar, Rajeevnagar, and Gautamnagar to name a few. The team were seen busy doing the survey of around 1, 6,909 people in these areas living in around 24,559 houses. Around 225 teams were seen working in this regard led by 18 doctors who were busy checking the areas in locations like Abhyankarnagar, Jaripatka, Khamla, Empress City in Laxminagar, Dhantoli and Mangalwari zones. So far they have surveyed 1, 19,404 persons from 30,517 houses.
