In the recent update on the COVID 19 cases in Nagpur city, we see five more people have been tested positive for the virus. This has brought the figure up to 144 now as reported on Friday evening. Out of five, four are from Nagpur and one from the vicinity area of the city – Katol. They have been sent to hospital for the further observations. On the other side, many of the patients admitted earlier are getting negative results as well, which include four people to get the discharge.
The city has developed isolation centers at different places in Nagpur. The city has observed Shatrangipura as the top hotspot for the virus in Nagpur which follows the area of Mominpura, while the other areas in the west have been found with control. Additional security have been posted in the areas of Mominpura and other hotpots to restrict the movement of the people in the said locations.
However, the grim situation all across the state seems to have added yet another lockdown in the state. Now, the lockdown has been extended from 4th May to 18th May thus getting two more weeks for the same.
