69% of positive cases reported in a month are completely vaxxed comorbid persons

Nagpur: Between September 25 and November 5 this year, out of 145 positive cases of coronavirus in the city, about 127 had comorbid conditions such as heart disease, kidney failure, hypertension, and diabetes.
Twenty-six co-morbid persons were not vaccinated against covid at all. Out of about 127 comorbid coronavirus patients, around 101 have taken 1 dose of covid. While about 88 of them were well sealed. And the overall comorbidity rate is up to about 79%. And for the positive patients of the same fully jab covid, it is only up to 69%.
Out of 145 persons, 45 have received their second dose of covid between the months of February and June. An analysis of the data provided by the Health Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has also revealed that about 49 people were not vaccinated against covid at all. However, 41 of them were in dire need of hospitalization. But they remained very mild symptomatic cases. During this, only 2 needed ICU. And the condition of 1 of them had become very serious but they have been cured.
Since the date of August 12, there has been no coronavirus death of 1 resident of Nagpur district in the city.
Most of the new persons who have tested positive for covid have been put in mandatory institutional quarantine by the civic body with effect from the date of 25 August. New patients of covid are also given the option of being shifted to civil hospitals or AIIMS. Many symptomatic patients have also been admitted to private hospitals. Where they also refer to very serious cases with the help of outside the district.
Vaccination as to their condition
In all, 357 people have tested positive for covid between the date of 25 August to 5 November. And about 247 of these people had some form of comorbidity. Which is more than about 69%. Along with this, 83% or 299 people vaccinated against covid are in positive cases. Only 58 or 16% of those who do not get vaccinated against covid are.
Pulmonologist Dr. Ravindra Sarnaik, 1 member of the same district task force, has said that there may be some minor ailments associated with each case. He has also said that we need to see how severe the comorbidity is. Comorbidity alone is not at all the only reason for acquiring coronavirus. However, it is an accepted fact that co-morbid people also face more problems.
Dr. Ravindra has said that sick people will have to be very careful even after getting vaccinated against covid because their condition can worsen at any time.
Regarding the mild cases of people without covid vaccination, he said that they are probably less than 45 years of age.
Some new covid cases are detected mostly because they have to get coronavirus tests done for some reason or the other.
He has also said that the vaccination of covid has reduced the hospitalization, the severity of the disease, and the death rate.
On people who have tested positive for covid after several months have passed, Dr. Ravindra has said that after 6 months there have been reports of reduced immunity from the US and Europe. This is the reason why the booster dose of covid has been completely approved there. We still have to cover the second dose of covid for a large number of people.
