third wave

Dr Ashok has said that he is seeing some elderly people, most notably from the periphery, who have not yet been vaccinated against Covid. Not children, but these senior citizens will suffer a lot when the third wave of covid arrives.

Dr Ashok has said that although there have been more deaths in the second wave of covid, The death rate was much lower than before. According to the study, patients with high blood pressure and diabetes suffered the most during both waves. About 65% of the patients had both high blood pressure and diabetes.

This means that these are the highest risk factors. In the second wave of covid, the virus targeted the lungs, and pneumonia were also associated. It was very fatal for some people with BP and sugar.

Tertiary Care Center

Predicting that the third wave of covid will not be too severe, Dr. Arbat said that few people will reach testing centers or hospitals. Most patients will recover without any symptoms.
