RailWire Wi-Fi to be installed at Railway Stations including Nagpur. Yes, you heard it right, now the Nagpur station is empowered by the new and high-speed internet services for free.
For transforming the Railway Stations, we now see the new Wi-Fi hotspot is being added at most of the stations. However, this was done earlier but not many were happy with the services as it failed to work with good speed. Now, with RailWire, the passengers of Nagpur commuting in different directions would be able to get access to the high-speed internet. The Wi-Fi is offered under the brand name called Railwire, which happens to be the retail broadband service offered by Railtel.
As per reports, RailWire is now available as free and fast Wi-Fi service available at Railway stations and remains accessible through the Broadband services for subscription both at home and offices with nominal cost. In the recent past, the Wi-Fi network response has been incredible. As per reports, there are more than 74 stations at the Nagpur Division that remain accessible to the passengers.
The journey for starting the use of the internet started all the way in 2016 from Mumbai Central Station and soon in the coming years, it started expanding. Today we see the RailTel offering successfully more than Wi-Fi at 5500+ stations all over the nation. With the journey, RailTel seems to have roped in with partners including Google, PGCIL and Tata Trust who along with the Department of Telecom USOF is all set to operate in 200 stations.
