Women legislators to give their suggestions for making welfare schemes for them

Ajit Pawar has criticized the BJP-Shiv Sena (Balasaheb) government for not including a single woman minister in its cabinet since it came to power on June 30 last year. He said, “When NCP president Sharad Pawar was the defense minister, he ensured the entry of women in higher positions in the armed forces. The senior Pawar once insisted on passing a bill related to women in the assembly and the house worked till 3 am to clear it.

In his passionate speech, Yashomati Thakur also said that even after 18 years of her husband’s death, Despite having worked as a former minister in the then MVA government, he was facing discrimination as his property was not being transferred in the name of his children at all.

Women and Child Welfare Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha has also assured Pawar that he will hold a meeting in the speaker’s chamber. Where he is going to invite not only Yashomati Thakur but also other women legislators to give their suggestions for making welfare schemes for them.
