With the recent Supreme Court order to ban the registration of Bharat Stage IV vehicles from 1st April 2020, 37 two wheeler-dealers and 53 non-transport dealers were seen in the city to offer discounts to the sell stocked vehicles. They are now giving good discounts to clear their vehicles. A majority of them have given a good discount to clear the stock confirmed the AK Gandhi the leading dealer in two-wheelers in the city. The manager has confirmed about the discounts.
He also said that they are getting a good response to the offers. Similarly, the four wheeler-dealers are also giving the consumers a good amount of discounts in the city confirmed Mr. Himanshu Arya the four-wheeler dealer’s body. The discount can range from 5000 to 10,000 for the two-wheelers, while for the four-wheelers, the consumers can get the discount offer from 72,000 to 2 lakhs. The reasons are obvious as the city transport commissioner has also confirmed the same as the RTO will not be registering any vehicle after 31st March.
The Supreme Court has imposed a ban on BS IV and BS VI technology vehicles for environmental reasons. The people also feel that many a time we see the customers having a tough time getting the required discounts. Earlier the Ministry of Raod Transport and HIghways too have made a couple of changes int eh Section 115 dealing with the vehicles that have brought things to this end.
